Art Circle is an international festival for visual arts. Since its beginnings in 1997 in the Brda region of Slovenia, it has brought together artists from all over the world for a week to exchange ideas with locals and visitors and to be inspired by the region. This year, the Art Circle International for the third time in Austria St. Wolfgang am Wolfgangsee instead.
It lies in the beauty of Wolfgangsees and its surrounding nature, which has always attracted artists and creative people.
As early as the interwar period from 1927 onwards, a number of artists spent their summer holidays at Wolfgangsee and formed the Zinkenbach artists' colony.
In spring, international artists will once again be inspired by the lake and mountain panorama. Guests are invited to be there when works of art are created: whether in the art studio, on an inspiring boat trip or at a dinner with artists.
